We had an absolutely amazing stay at Casa Da Cisaltina! The attention to detail was exceptional, from the daily room cleaning to the fantastic breakfast with local items described. The comfortable bed and the bouquets of herbs in our room added a special touch. Fatima, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us with our day-to-day plans. Her knowledge of Portuguese history, culture, and landscapes made our conversations truly interesting. The use of the kitchen and living room was a great bonus. we highly recommend Casa Da Cisaltina for a welcoming and delightful experience.

The limited dining options in the village, but this was not a major inconvenience for us.

I had the most amazing experience at Casa Da Cisaltina in Povoacao. The room was beautiful and cozy, with all the necessary amenities for a perfect stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast - it was absolutely delicious and had a variety of local products from the Azores. The host, Fatima, was incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. She even provided a prepared breakfast for me when I had to leave early for the airport. The location was great too, not too far from many points of interest on Sao Miguel. I highly recommend Casa Da Cisaltina for a wonderful stay in Povoacao.

Amazing experience! The host was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Loved the beautiful room with fresh rosemary decorations. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of regional foods and interesting stories behind them. The location was perfect, close to the thermal pools and with mountain views. a fantastic stay!
Only one minor issue - the bathroom lights were a bit too bright. But it didn't take away from the wonderful experience we had at this cozy mountain village retreat.

I had such a wonderful time at Casa Da Cisaltina Guest House. The moment I walked in, I instantly felt at home. The house has a cozy and charming atmosphere that made my stay truly unforgettable. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable that I had the best night's sleep.
One minor drawback was that my room faced the street, so there was some noise during the day. However, it didn't bother me too much as I'm a heavy sleeper.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Da Cisaltina in Povoacao. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was at home. Fátima, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of local and homemade treats to choose from. The rooms were clean and cozy, and I loved the fresh scent of herbs that greeted me each day. The location of the guest house was perfect for exploring the beautiful east side of São Miguel. I can't wait to go back and I was sad to leave!
There was only one minor drawback during my stay - the shower head in my room was a bit loose and fell down a couple of times. However, this was a small issue that didn't affect the overall quality of my stay.

My stay at Casa Da Cisaltina was truly amazing. The interior of the guest house was cozy and beautifully decorated, showing the host's attention to detail and creating a warm atmosphere. The kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The view from the window, despite facing the street, was breathtaking, with the beautiful nature surrounding the town. The sunrise was especially memorable, with the sounds of birds and vibrant colors in the sky creating a calming ambiance. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a thoughtful addition, making it easier to dry our clothes in the humid climate. The breakfast provided was rich and delicious, with fresh local products. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Casa Da Cisaltina for a beautiful and peaceful getaway.
